HD in SE Asia: Overview

The section is a collection of fictional short stories from the perspective of patients with Huntington’s Disease as well as family members of those with HD living in South East Asia. These works do not represent the experience of any one individual, nor do they aim to encompass the entirety of a HD experience in South East Asia. However, these stories hope to explore themes of social stigma in countries where mental illness is not often talked about. Hopefully, the series of short stories from a perspective of those affected by the illness will help readers to understand the illness and empathize with those affected by the illness.
